25 year storm part 1
This is the first part of my pictures of the hail storm that happened the night of March 29, 2012.
What was amazing to me was the resilience of people to get things back on track and clear the areas of debris! Just want to note that I took alot of pics of left over hail because I was surprised to see hail that had not melted in the middle of the afternoon at 90 degrees!

Make Mine Freedom (1948)
Its strange how we think that the ideals and policies that our leaders tout are new and bold. This video is from 1948. This is not some right wing propoganda thought up by Reagan and Bush. It doesnt stem from Cheney or Halliburton. It's this belief that 'fair' and social justice means that everyone plays by the same rules and no one gets hurt and that the few with the most must give up what they have and be force to give to the majority with the little. there is a quote from this 60 something year old cartoon that sums up what is going on today:
"When anybody preaches disunity, tries to pit one of us against the other through class warfare, race hatred, or religious intolerance, you know that person seeks to rob us of our freedom and destroy our very lives. Working together to produce an ever greater abundance of material and spiritual values for all; that is the secret of american prosperity!"
-AMEN TO THAT!
